Prices

RATES are all-inclusive. You can arrive on any day of the week.

PAYMENTS are accepted by bank transfer in pounds sterling (or equivalent in euros)
OR by credit card via PayPal for which we charge an additional 3%.
A 30% deposit must be paid at the time of booking; the balance is due 30 days prior to arrival.
If you book within 30 days of arrival full payment is requested

Cottage rental rates

We accept bookings starting on any day, normally for 7 nights or more.  Weekend rates (3 nights) are available during some seasons, see chart below.

The rates below are all-inclusive.  If you book a second week, a brief mid-stay clean can be provided on request.

Disclaimer

We handle rental bookings in good faith and ensure the provision of the rental service as advertised. We do not accept liability for unforeseen circumstances leading to cancellation or disappointment and we recommend that you take out holiday insurance.

Terms and conditions

You must be over 18 years and have read our booking conditions before making a booking with us.

You are normally requested to arrive no earlier than 1600 hrs at the start of your holiday
and depart no later than 1000 hrs when vacating. We do our best to accommodate different timings providing we have agreed times in advance in writing.

We ask you to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition and to be responsible for any damages, loss or breakages that might occur.

If your party includes young children, we ask you to confirm that you will take full responsibility for their safety, particularly with regards to the log burning fire which you may want to use during the colder months.

Cancellation policy

We require notice of cancellation by email or letter.

If you cancel 40 days or more before your arrival date you are entitled to a full refund of any payment made. Alternatively, you can change your booking dates at Loch Dhu cottage within a six month period - subject to availability.

If your cancellation falls within 40 days prior to your arrival, we have the right to retain your deposit.

If your cancellation falls within 25 days prior to your arrival, we have the right to retain the full fee. Having said this, we will always do our best to find other occupants for the period you have cancelled.
